For over 20 years, Smile artistry has been providing Porcelain Veneer Treatments to its patients. Dental Veneers, and Porcelain Veneers in particular are a thin film of Porcelain bonded permanently on the front surface of your teeth to improve the cosmetic appearance and strength of your tooth.

In creating a smile makeover, Porcelain Veneers are typically used, and the number required is very specific to your smile.  Some patients may require only a few Porcelain Veneers, whilst others may require a full mouth of Porcelain Veneers.

Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain Crowns are similar to Porcelain Veneers, and they are made of a similar Porcelain.  A Porcelain Crown differs from a Porcelain Veneer as it extends over to the inside of the tooth.  Visually, you should not be able to tell the difference.

Porcelain Crowns are more suitable than Porcelain Veneers in cases where a tooth has a large existing filling, is very worn or broken down or is very dark.

Modern Technology provided with proven techniques allow Smile Artistry to provide you with planned Porcelain Crowns and Porcelain Veneers.  In each and every case we perform that involves changing the shape or position of a tooth, you will first have a Diagnostic Waxup performed which is a wax mock-up of the planned improvements.  This means you will visually see the proposed improvements and have a say in teh appearance they will give you.  It also allows our Dentists to plan and minimise the amount of reduction of tooth enamel reduction required.

The Wax-up also allows for you to take home your Provisional Dental Veneers and try out the new shapes.  Should you wish any changes be made, this is the time we can do so, until about two-three weeks later when your permanent Porcelain Veneers and Porcelain Crowns are placed.

Cheaper Porcelain Veneers Brisbane cannot do so, and cheaper, ultra-thin veneers lack strength, and do not have the ability to change tooth colour more than a few shades.
