Another cheap cosmetic dentistry form of veneers is bonding.  Bonding is the process of sticking a resin (plastic) filling material over the front surface of your teeth.  It typically will make the teeth thicker than usual and unpolished resins will assist gum disease in spreading and will look dull and allow colour to shine through.  Bonding is expected to last from 2-5 years.  It cosmetic dentistry cost of $90-$225 per year, and will become more cost effective if it was to last the full 7 year lifespan.  Typically, whilst bonding may last the full 7 years, after only a short time of a few years the bonding will be prone to staining and chipping.

Emax and Empress Porcelain Veneers

Emax and Empress Porcelain Veneers are considered the best aesthetic standard in Porcelain Veneer Technology.  They will typically last for 15-20 years, and have a cosmetic dentistry cost of around $85-$115 per year (calculated on a lifespan of 15-20 years).  They can correct endless amounts of colour imperfections and are able to improve tooth crowding, rotations, and wear to give natural shaped teeth again.  The initial cost of these porcelain veneers is increased upfront, but over time will become the more cost-effective treatment available.
