First, A CT Scan is taken for the patient. The 3D Image is then reconstructed on a computer, where dental implants and crowns can be placed in virtual reality on the computer screen. When 'best-possible' positions are created, the plan is sent to a specialised laboratory, where a computer creates an implant guidance guide for the implants to be placed into a patients mouth in the best possible position, creating great results! This can reduce the need for lengthy bone grafting procedures in suitable cases.
